Preparation:
Soak a cup of beans overnight or a canned beans in a can will also work. The difference is that overnight soaked beans will give a thicker result of the sauce than in a canned beans. After soaking the beans overnight , bring it to boil until it get soft. Drain it after cooked. Cooking with fresh ingredients always gives best result
Ingredients
- 100grms beans (soaked and boiled) or in can
- 1 piece peeled and cut in cubes carrots
- cut bell pepper (red , orange or green )
- 1/2 onions chopped
- chopped garlic
- 2 big fresh tomatoes (chopped)
- chopped parsley
- olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- powder smoked paprika
- cup tomato sauce
- cup of water
- mais in can ( drain the mais to have it ready for cooking )
Methods:
- Place your pan on a hot stove, pour in some olive oil when the pan is heated. Fry the chopped onions and garlic. Add next the chopped tomatoes, mix and let it fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the beans, cut carrots and bell pepper and mix well. Let the pan covered for another 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add the drain mais and give it a mix. Pour tomato sauce, and add some powder smoked paprika. Add a cup of water, and stir it. Cover and let it boil in a medium heat for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, stir and cover again. Put your heat to low and leave it boiling for another 20 minutes.
- It is done! Sprinkle chopped parsley when serve .
